- Entries are made by filling in the form on the Visit Findhorn Photo Competition page of this website. Please ensure that all information submitted is correct – Phoenix Findhorn CIC cannot be held responsible for entries with incorrect information.
- Images are submitted by uploading to the form. Files must be in jpeg format and file size must be no more than 4MB. Any given photo may only be entered once. Submitted files will not be returned.
- Photos should be taken in or immediately around Findhorn, and be representative of the activities, buildings and natural environment of Findhorn and its surrounding area.
- A winning photograph will be selected for each calendar month from images submitted during that month. The prize for that month is listed on the main Photo Competition page. Any taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
- Winners will normally be notified during the month after the photo was submitted.
- Prizes will be available for collection from the Phoenix shop. If you do not live locally, we will post the prize if requested, or you may elect to donate the prize to any local charity.
- Entries will be judged by the Visit Findhorn team, based on originality, technical quality and how well the photo presents Findhorn. The judges’ decision is final.
- Copyright for all images submitted remains with the photographer. However, by submitting a photo you give Phoenix Findhorn CIC non-exclusive rights to use your image on the Visit Findhorn website and in related emails and promotions. By entering, you also certify that you hold the copyright to the photo, and have the permission of any recognisable individuals for the photo to be used in this manner.
- Any images used will be credited to the photographer, with a link back to their website, if supplied.
